About

  • I am a photographer, entrepreneur, and university student with a mixed German and Bulgarian background, currently studying Economics and Computer Science at Harvard University. In addition to my studies, I co-founded Mii, a healthcare technology startup. My creative outlet is blacklight photography, and I have had the privilege of exhibiting my work in several countries.

  • Blacklight pictures are portraits of people that wear make-up with fluorescent pigments, which come to life in the dark.

I discovered blacklight photography while searching for a new creative passion. My love for photography had always been strong, but it reached new heights when I decided to experiment with fluorescent makeup on a friend. I captured portraits of her glowing face under blacklight, and that moment started my journey with this unique form of photography.

What I love about blacklight photography is that there is no widespread archive of this kind of art online. While some of my other projects often build upon pre-invented things, blacklight photography does not. I can be completely creative and set my own standards. My blacklight photography has made me a more creative thinker, which has been useful in my entrepreneurial journey as a builder of technological solutions.
